About FOMO
A Rainbow of Stories: Bringing Inclusivity to Your Screen
At the launch in April 2008, OUTtv, the first tv-channel aimed at the LGBTQI+-and open minded was revolutionary. Over the last decades our organization has grown, technologies have emerged, and the media landscape has changed, our targeted audience re- mained. That’s why we have altered our portfolio into a new entity, FOMO, containing all activities to serve the family of special interest audiences. These audiences are our core; serving their needs, making their stories expressed and heard by our societies. That’s what drives us every day.
FOMO is covering the entire range of film and video exploitation. With our filmdistribution companies we offer a considerable portfolio of distribution rights for over fifteen countries in Europe, as well as a constantly growing rights line-up for non-European suitors. Yearly we serve over 120+ (arthouse) cinema’s and film festivals in Europe with our content.
From the releases in cinemas, to DVD/Blu Ray & digital distribution via f.e. iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Rakuten and from our TV/Fast-channels carried by (TV)-operators to our own and third party party streaming platforms in Europe, our business activities have evolved; exploiting these stories within a 360 degrees model.
We keep working on an inclusive world, where everyone can live his or her lifestyle; our goal to show people alternative perspectives to live and to inspire them by the exploration of our stories. Creating an open society for everyone, as some of us don’t have the same position and visibility; that’s why we keep our focus on the lifestyle of the rainbow community, empowering women, and the allies, who support human rights.
These special interest audiences are our core; serving their needs, making their stories expressed and heard by our societies. That’s what drives us every day.
