OUTtv Now Available on Germany’s Super Streamer Joyn

26-07-2025

OUTtv has officially launched today on Joyn, Germany’s largest streaming platform. The launch coincides with Christopher Street Day (CSD) Berlin, one of the country’s most significant LGBTQI+ events, and marks a major step in OUTtv’s mission to bring queer stories to a broader audience.

Starting today, viewers in Germany can enjoy OUTtv as a 24/7 linear TV channel, along with a curated on-demand selection of queer films, series & documentaries.

“We’re proud to launch OUTtv on Joyn, a platform loved by a broad and diverse audience,” says Marc Putman, Founder and CEO of OUTtv.

“This partnership allows us to share entertaining and authentic stories that originate from the LGBTQI+ community. With both our linear channel and on-demand offering, we’re excited to bring Joyn users a vibrant mix of queer films, series, and originals that inspire and connect.”

Joyn, operated by the Seven. One Entertainment Group (part of ProSiebenSat.1), is Germany’s go-to destination for premium streaming content, with more than 10.4 million monthly users. The partnership brings stronger LGBTQI+ representation to one of Europe’s most dynamic streaming platforms.

“Proud to cooperate!” says a Joyn spokesperson.

“Our super streamer Joyn is adding the successful queer channel OUTtv to its live TV and on-demand offering from 26 July, just in time for the CSD weekend in Berlin. The channel shows a variety of programmes such as Mario, Nights in Tefia, House of Drag, Lipservice, Veneno, Luft, L-Bomb, Harry Styles: The Finishing Touch and Olly Alexander – Growing Up Gay. OUTtv is committed to making the LGBTQ+ community visible, telling their stories and celebrating the diversity of lifestyles. Together, Joyn and OUTtv will make queer topics accessible to an even wider audience in the future.”

Today’s launch strengthens OUTtv’s footprint in the German-speaking market and aligns with its broader mission of advancing LGBTQI+ visibility in mainstream European media.
